Mr. Bakovic has 25-years of experience in debt and equity investments in the global power sector. He has participated in the financing of power projects in several deregulated electricity markets including the UK, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Turkey, Philippines, India, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Panama, Romania and Poland. At IFC, Mr. Bakovic has helped spearhead renewable energy auctions by supporting the design of the RenovAr auctions in Argentina and the Mexican Renewable Auctions. Before joining IFC, he was the Manager for Business Development for Latin America for Dominion Energy (Virginia Power) where he led the development and acquisition of close to 2,000 MW of hydroelectric power plants that were later successfully sold to Duke Energy. Before joining Dominion Energy, he was a Senior Consultant at the Ernst & Young Energy Group in Washington DC.
Mr. Bakovic has undergraduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics, and master’s degrees in Industrial and Operations Engineering and MBA from the University of Maryland and University of Michigan. Mr. Bakovic is co-author of the book "Regulation by Contracts" and the lead author of the Bolivian Electricity Law and its regulations. |

Emilio Fabbrizzi is a Managing Director and the Head of Project Finance Latin America at DNB Markets Inc., the Investment Banking Division of DNB Bank ASA and responsible for the financing activities of DNB in Latin America. He has over eighteen years of experience in the financial services industry having completed several banking and capital markets transactions in the renewable energy sector in Latin America.
Emilio joined DNB Bank ASA in early 2012 and after spending almost three years in DNB Chile setting the platform for the project finance business he returned to New York to take a position at DNB Markets in February 2015. Prior to DNB he worked in the Global Energy Group of WestLB AG in New York where he was responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of advisory and project finance transactions in Latin America and took different assignments in New York, Brazil and Chile.
Emilio received an MBA in 2004 from the New York University (Leonard N. Stern Business School) and his undergraduate degree in Administration from Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina). |

Ben Moody is co-founder, President and CEO of Pan American Finance, a Miami-based investment banking firm that specializes in advising on renewable energy projects in the Caribbean Basin and Latin America.
Pan American Finance has advised on well over US$1.0 billion in power and renewable energy M&A and capital raising transactions, including:
• US$245 million long-term project debt financing for Polaris Energy Nicaragua’s 72 MW San Jacinto Geothermal Power Project in Nicaragua in 2010.
• Acquisition of certain global assets of Conergy, German solar EPC contractor and solar PV developer, by Kawa Capital Management in 2013.
• Joint venture between Sonnedix Solar and institutional investors advised by JP Morgan Asset Management’s Infrastructure Investments Fund; over €300 million in new equity commitments by the JV partners in 2014.
• Acquisition, US$100 million bridge financing and US$300 million long-term project debt financing for InterEnergy Holding’s 215 MW Penonomé Wind Project in Panama in 2014.
• Acquisition of substantially all of the equity of Sonnedix Solar by institutional investors advised by JP Morgan Asset Management’s Infrastructure Investments Fund in 2016.
• Currently advising on a U$120 million long-term project debt financing for a 143 MW Solar PV Power Project in Chile.
• Also advising on a US$150 million equity capital raise for a renewable energy platform focused on solar and wind in Mexico.
