Carlos 'Ucho' Barrera is the CEO of Atlas Renewable Energy since 2017. Before joining Atlas Renewable Energy, ‘Ucho’ worked at SunEdison for six years, as Managing Director & VP for Latin America where he grew the business from scratch to invest $1bn in a span of 4 years, and develop 500MW+ of projects financed and constructed. Maria Paz De la Cruz has worked in the power industry for 20 years. She also worked as an energy commodities trader dealing in coal and biomass for the largest, cleanest and most efficient coal-fired power station in the UK. Eric joined DWM in 2011 and has held roles within DWM’s Debt, Products & Partnerships, and Fund Management teams. Currently, Eric leads the management of DWM’s fixed income assets within Africa & the Middle East.
Prior to DWM, Eric was a product manager for Opportunity International Network, where he worked closely with the organization’s African banking operations and global fundraising teams with respect to capital planning and budgeting, strategic development, and requisite program reporting for the Network’s agricultural finance initiative. Canadian Solar has recently closed financing for the first utility scale PV Project in Brazil and will close two more project financings in Brazil and at least one in Mexico during 2017.
Greg has closed more than 20 project financings and has worked in both project finance and development roles in Latin America, Asia, Australia, India, North Africa and the US on the successful development of wind, solar, geothermal and biomass projects as well as other utility and natural gas infrastructure.

EREC is a joint venture between Rekamniar and the French IPP, Neoen International. Prior to founding Rekamniar, Angella worked at Goldman Sachs in the Merchant Banking Division (Principal Investment Area) in London and New York. While at Goldman, she worked on corporate and infrastructure private equity transactions. She began her career at McKinsey & Company in New York, advising Fortune 100 clients on business strategy.

She served as an advisor on power and energy investment in Africa to Helios Investment Partners, a $3.0bn private equity fund. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for GK Capital Management, the financial advisory and investment arm of the Grace Kennedy Group and JN Money Services, a subsidiary of the Jamaica National Building Society.

Mr. Bakovic has 25-years of experience in debt and equity investments in the global power sector. He has participated in the financing of power projects in several deregulated electricity markets including the UK, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Turkey, Philippines, India, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Panama, Romania and Poland. At IFC, Mr. Bakovic has helped spearhead renewable energy auctions by supporting the design of the RenovAr auctions in Argentina and the Mexican Renewable Auctions. Before joining IFC, he was the Manager for Business Development for Latin America for Dominion Energy (Virginia Power) where he led the development and acquisition of close to 2,000 MW of hydroelectric power plants that were later successfully sold to Duke Energy. Before joining Dominion Energy, he was a Senior Consultant at the Ernst & Young Energy Group in Washington DC.
Mr. Bakovic has undergraduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics, and master’s degrees in Industrial and Operations Engineering and MBA from the University of Maryland and University of Michigan. He leads a team responsible for marketing, originating and managing investments in structured and corporate finance for electric utilities, power cooperatives and power projects based in the Southeast U.S. and in Latin America. Richard joined Prudential in 2004.

Gemel started his regional banking career in 2004 with FirstCaribbean International Bank (Barbados) Ltd as Associate Director, Capital Markets, and has worked on large, corporate and infrastructure financings in sectors that include airports, ports and energy throughout the Caribbean region. In his current role, Gemel has also been involved in the structuring and financing of renewable energy projects including both utility scale solar and commercial scale solar projects. Gemel led the CIBC FirstCaribbean team that executed the financing of the first utility scale solar project on Grand Cayman, a transaction that won the award for “Best Project Financing” at the 2017 Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF). Prior to joining CIBC FirstCaribbean, Gemel was based in Toronto where he worked as a Senior Financial Analyst with Bank of Montreal in their Corporate and Investment Banking division and also as a Strategy Consultant with Deloitte Consulting in their Toronto Financial Services practice.

Patrick D’Addario is President and a founding Director of the Fiorello H. LaGuardia Foundation (LGF), whose mission is to continue the legacy of Mayor Fiorello H. LGF programs foster community-based development and technology transfer for sustainable agriculture, for improved access to water, and for renewable energy infrastructures. LGF also promotes health, education and academic exchange.

Mr. D’Addario has had more than 30 years of experience in energy efficiency and renewable energy project identification, development, prepration, finance and commercialization in the public, private, and philanthropic sectors. He is currently serving, through S3IDF, as Project Finance Specialist for the USG Clean Energy Finance Facility for the Caribbean and Central America, which is providing US 20 million in grants for clean energy project development. He is also Team Leader of EU projects to develop partial risk guarantees for grid-tied renewables in Sub-Saharan Africa and to design a program to use PVs to electrify 1000 schools and health facilities in The Gambia.

Esteban Pérez Andrich holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (Argentina).
He has more than 10 years of experience in macroeconomic analysis and 15 years of experience in the Building sector, particularly, in the development of energy and oil and gas projects.
Nowadays, he is the National Director for Renewable Energy of the Ministry of Energy and Mining of Argentina. His main responsibility is to promote the development of high capacity renewable energy projects, as those ones to be developed under the framework of the RenovAr Program, and the projects governed by the RREE Corporate Agreements Legal Framework.

Emilio Fabbrizzi is a Managing Director and the Head of Project Finance Latin America at DNB Markets Inc., the Investment Banking Division of DNB Bank ASA and responsible for the financing activities of DNB in Latin America. He has over eighteen years of experience in the financial services industry having completed several banking and capital markets transactions in the renewable energy sector in Latin America.

Emilio joined DNB Bank ASA in early 2012 and after spending almost three years in DNB Chile setting the platform for the project finance business he returned to New York to take a position at DNB Markets in February 2015. Prior to DNB he worked in the Global Energy Group of WestLB AG in New York where he was responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of advisory and project finance transactions in Latin America and took different assignments in New York, Brazil and Chile.

Emilio received an MBA in 2004 from the New York University (Leonard N. Stern Business School) and his undergraduate degree in Administration from Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina).

Patrick Doyle is Senior Managing Director at MGM Innova Capital, where he focuses on originating and structuring investments as well as monitoring MGM Sustainable Energy Fund I (MSEF I)’s investment portfolio. He is leading sourcing/early screening for several MSEF I investments in solar distributed generation, small hydro, energy efficiency and biogas. Additionally, he is MSEF I's environmental and social compliance officer.
Before joining MGM Innova Capital, Mr. Doyle was a Senior Energy and Climate Officer in the Structured and Corporate Finance Department of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), where he led the IDB’s transactions and technical support for distributed generation and energy efficiency, and managed numerous international climate funds. Prior to the IDB he was a strategy consultant advising companies, governments, and financial institutions on clean energy markets and technologies. His professional experience also includes working for a clean-tech start-up and as the manager of energy and environmental compliance for a large facility.

He also collaborated with Électricité de France (EDF) in Mexico as Planning and Control Director, where he was responsible for the implementation and elaboration of financial models, as well as the administration of three hydroelectric plants. He holds a Master's degree in Finance from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. In addition, he obtained the title of Economist granted by Universidad de San Buenaventura, of Santiago de Cali, Colombia.
